CURRENCY & EXCHANGE
Thailand uses the Thai Baht, which is normally abbreviated with the sign ฿. As of June 2022, 31 baht is equivalent to about 1 US dollar.
At Suvarnabhumi Airport (or Bangkok International Airport) and Don Muang International Airport, the visitors easily find currency exchange booths of several commercial banks.
In the down town and around the meetings venue, there are also various exchange stores and convertors especially along Khaosan Road. Superich Thailand (green clour) and SuperRich (orange colour) are among those exchange stores that are reasonable.
Normally in Thailand the official hour starts from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm while the business hours of private sectors are varied. The department stores normally open around 10:00 am and close at 10:00 pm
CLIMATE & CLOTHING
The average high-temperature in October is 32°C (90°F) while the average low-temperature is 25°C (77°F). However, air conditioner’s temperature is often set around 25°C (77°F) in Thailand. In addition, please kind in mind that it is highly possible to be rainy in late October when the monsoon season just finishes normally. Therefore you are suggested to bring clothing items that are ventilated well while and hats and umbrellas for excursion and site visit are necessary.

MOBILE & SIM CARD
There are three network operators in Thailand: Dtac, Truemove H and AIS. You can easily buy a prepaid SIM card at the airports and in every store of the operators showing your passport. Often they also offer a free-sim card when you top-up a certain amount of money.
